Back home from the car auction.

Bought a mondeo from an auction a good few years back went to look at an astra bertone coupe and got carried away  still ended up selling for a profit after owning it almost a year so worked out OK but not been to a car auction since too easy to go mental...

And yes beedub the si is brilliant! Only had mine a week and already very impressed seems to always have more power than I need even when I found myself in completely the wrong gear

Great price. :) Do love buying at auction though only ever bought old bangers. That sure ain't no old banger. Enjoy.

Stratus, my favourite colour

My coupe was the same colour, was gorgeous, enjoy!
Thank you. Can't help turning around to look at it.

I had the same issue with mine, kept looking back. Don't do it so much with the titanium roadster :o

The pic going through the auction doesn't half sell it. Looks really nice and I can imagine lots of interest so you did well getting it

Thanks Taz. Thought I'd have a bigger battle. Whoever owned it before really cared for the bodywork. Not a single car park ding. Original paint. M sport seats, steering and suspension, feels good. Can't wait to have it detailed and refurb the wheels.

Well, these speakers sound fantastic. Maybe the amps that drive them are the reason many find them disappointing.

I used nuts and bolts to secure the speaker plates to the car and got a solid fixing unlike the way bmw mount them. Rock solid with now vibration.

Amp has remote volume so I can balance the subs to my liking.

Grom Bluetooth music streaming, track/volume change on stearing.

Europarts special deal, complete Brembo discs and pads ordered.

Getting there.

Rialas, apologies for being off topic. I love you car and I like your parking - you will now always park like this, as far away from the white line and into the corner :D Just watch out for the shrubs!

Or, just park like this God among men....

Glad to see that particular habit has survived through your waywardness

Welcome back to the fold, and congratulations - that is a lovely car Rialas. You'll get on just fine with the auto box too I suspect.

Thanks Bing, glad to be back in a z and the auto is great.

Picking the old girl up today.

Parking ding removed (not getting anymore of those) :)
Factory subwoofers fitted powered by jl250 monobloc, huge improvement.
Grom Bluetooth music streaming. Simple.
Brembo pads and discs all round
Paint detail
Door mirror fell off. Replaced
Drivers window regulator started grinding. Replaced.
Lepsons wheel refurb, diamond cut edges. Wheel badges.
Calipers painted.
Aircon topped up. Now freezing.

The best thing about this car is the condition of the original paint. All it needed was a da polish. Love it.

And the all important stubby.

Oh and a replacement engine for my 335i N55 which I managed to destroy. Lol. Expensive month.
