So I picked up this little beauty at auction today.

Really missed my little z.
Went through a number of cars in the last couple of years, but nothing quite as enjoyable as my mc.

Neaded an auto in the family, hence no m for me this time around, but this nicely optioned 3.0si.

They look so cool.

That's only showing the follwoing on the MOT....

Sorting everything out is half the fun for me. The brakes feel great, but I'll be replacing the discs/brakes, anyway. Lepsons wheel refurb, detail etc.
Keeping it long term.

Had a good look around under the bonnet this morning, and there's definitely evidence of work been done to the braking system recently. A lot of new bits. :)

Ps thanks everyone.

Good that the work looks like it has been done.

Get it serviced and get an OBD cable / Reader to check for any problems.

Thanks, it was serviced a few months ago, it's down around 500 since. But I'll get the oil changed in any case.
I have the carly dongle/app. No faults, and I've programmed a few options and stuff :).

Just before the bidding war.
Full adrenalin.

I was praying it would pour down with rain to turn bidders off. But it still looked good.

Been to a couple of auctions, but never bid on anything, looks a lot of fun if you know what you're doing. How did the auction go, was there a lot of bidders, did it all happen super quick? What would have been your maximum bid...?

Really wanted it, and I was near my maximum.
Problem is, there were 2 other bidders in the hall, and the bidding started high at £8500 from a net bid (real or fake will never know?).

On the plus, the car was waranted, so a little piece of mind.
