B***ards

That is such shite news!! Feel for you mate! :(

Probably just some passing by tw*t!! Someone pulled the passenger wing mirror off my MINI and it was parked well into my drive! The night before I traded it in as well!! I've installed security lighting on the drive now!

Gutted for you. I occasionally stay at my girlfriends in Wilmslow near manchester and one night 42 cars got vandalised.

Total W**kers!

They should be strung up by their balls! Hope you get it sorted!

Unfortunately people that do things like this don't have any balls. Or brains for that matter :x

Vandalism is becoming more common that I'm considering one of the companies who don't penalise you for claims on your insurance due to vandalism (or at least that's what they claim) - Direct Line, etc. Although I don't park mine out very often, when I do it tends to be town/city centres...

Sorry to hear that, pathetic small p*nised twats...

You're all making me nervous, mine is on the road everynight and I have no choice (central London and not rich enough for a garage).

Sorry to hear this. I know how you feel as i've had mine vandalised twice (wing mirror ripped off 5 weeks after i got it, and rear badge ripped off 1 week after i had fitted new carbon fiber one's!)

The worst part is not having to mess about getting it repaired, or the cost, but it's not knowing who has done it and if it's going to happen again

Hope you get it sorted soon.

Just be careful when claiming from the insurance company and they find out it was parked outside overnight at your house whilst the policy states garage parking.

Extremely nasty stuff though, and very, very annoying!

Not true. I've never seen a policy that says that. Normally it will say "Where is the car NORMALLY parked overnight", so you can claim, no issues.

Just make sure there is room for your car in the garage, if they decide to come round and it's full of crap you may struggle.

And my policy states: Where is the car parked overnight: Garage.

No "normally" in the policy.

What id recommend wouldnt be suitable for this soft touch society, and would be in serious breach of the human rights act!

...and what if you got it wrong and it wasnt Wayne from down the street (who youve just had castrated) but instead Dean from across the road?

and this is where the overcrowding of prisons begin. we'll have people in there for petty crimes instead of the killers and abusers. i think big fines should suffice. leave the metal beds for the real criminals.

Wayne would be in line for a hefty compensation pay out, and Dean will then be castrated :poke:

But if for example a deterrent like that was in place then that should be enough stop anyone going out and committing these acts.

And if your car was keyed all down the side by someone, how would you react? And what kind of punishment do you think they should get?

The fact that Wayne was picked up means he was a known troublemaker anyway, so the castration is then for another crime he had not been picked up for.
