Had to happen did nt it. I leave my car parked out in the road for the first time I ve owned it in 3 months to wake up and go down to it this morning... deep deep scratch starting at front wing, along the top of passenger door and finishing about 6 inches from trailing edge of door. Only parked outside because I painted the garage floor on sunday.
Oh and an inverted mc donalds cup turned upside down on the aerial with the remains of coke etching into paintwork. Did nt think this was a bad area.only been here 9 months(private estate) upset no one I know of.....Miserable now

Feel for you mate

:x :x :x :x :x The world would be a better place if people like this died slowly and painfully

Just be careful when claiming from the insurance company and they find out it was parked outside overnight at your house whilst the policy states garage parking.

Extremely nasty stuff though, and very, very annoying!

Good point .I had nt thought of that... I guess I will have to say it was a daytime occurence.I don t suppose theres a lot of point in telling old bill Eh?

Probably not a lot of point in terms of catching the little wankers, but often the insurance will want a crime number for their records, and it can't hurt I suppose, at the v.least if several people have reported similar stuff then they may send more bobbies in your direction and next time they may get caught (fat chance, I know, but worth a phone call I suppose)

Sorry to hear about that mate, feel sick just thinking about it.

Their choice in culinary delights (Mc DOnalds) says it all. Some 'orrible council-estate-elizabeth-duke-wearing chavs no doubt.

I had my last motor done over 3 times and all the audio ripped out - and a load of bodywork damaged in the process. I know how it feels :(

Good luck with the repairs - if you're in the London area I know some good body shops and some not so good body shops...

Gutted for you mate.. The mentality of vandalism totally alludes me.. Small minded, weak, low life cowards.

Since my last car was keyed 3 times and giving away £400 to chips away, I now have to garage the car a mile from home. It's true what you mention about logging with the plod, but in reality, it's almost impossible to catch the twunts.

Terrible what people do from jealousy, while drunk, bravado, etc.

I'd def call the police to report it. Might have been several done and as said insurers may need it.

Police will do nothing. I had someone dancing on the bonnet of one of my previous cars. There was a crime camera nearby but they said they wouldn`t investigate further, had no interest in looking at the camera footage of one of their own cameras. I was told to 'claim off insurance' and yeah, watch my premium sky rocket.

Thanks fellas for all the words. Ihave reported it now and got an incident number. Put the car back in the garage tonight and as soon as I got it under the fluroscent lighting you can clearly see where someones fat butt has sat on the bonnet or something and we all know what a huge panel of vulnerable aluminium that is.. Hey ho should be getting claims form tomorrow..
\it absolutely has to be jealousy of some kind,

Feel sorry for u mate. Hope insurance company doesnt give too much trouble. Hope u reported to police as a daytime incident too(keep same story with both cops and insurance).
