i didn't realize you are only a few mins down the road from me, i had to go down to dpd today i could have dropped it off

im going to do a step by step fitting guide tomorrow on how to fit them, its not hard getting the old one off can be quite tricky.

Just to say many thanks that my set arrived today and they look fantastic. Will wait for the fitting guide before doing something wrong

Cheers James,
I will put it up tonight I finish work at 3 today so should have plenty of time to do it.

So here we go.

Hand brake you need to pull and twist the old one until it pops off. It can take some effort!
Then drop the button inside your new handle and slide it over the lever, that should be in the engaged position. Let it sit there on it own weight, DO NOT PULL IT BACK and tighten the grub screws like picture 1.20181102_161719.jpg

Warm the leather boot up with and hair dryer that should make it more malleable. Slide it over the attached handle. Put the cable tie in and pull it as tight and you can.(pliers help with this).

Pull the boot back over clip into place and you have your shiny new handle  :thumbsup:20181102_162541.jpg

Just installed mine. Cheers Buckley :)
Might have to find a new boot to do it justice.

On a side note to anyone finding it difficult to remove the old handle, a couple of light taps with a hammer from the base shifted it with ease.

Love it!

I think my handle had been taken off before as I came off really easy.

How did you find fitting the handle?
