Axel's Coupé - High stress windscreen surround

That's a helpful write up as I bought the trim last year and have just been waiting for some warmer weather in the hope it makes the rubber a bit more flexible.

But last week my garage door broke so I can't get to any tools so I need to get the door fixed first!

Finally did the one job that was letting down the car aesthetic and revealing its age: the windscreen surround! (well not withstanding overall paint scratches and chips)
Wow, timing! Just about to do mine as well, and similarly to yours, my passenger side gap is quite a bit tighter than the driver's side. I thought about trimming too, and I'm guessing they must've used a mallet in the factory to get it in! Great result though!

Same here, windscreen surround is also on my to do list as the rubber is cracked at the top. Already have the part so good to know don't necessarily need to remove the glass. Car is looking great Axel!
