AVINUSA 10.25 multimedia nav system

I hope this works out, but I have my doubts after my experiences with a normal business CD replacement vs a satnav replacement in E46 - Satnav unit connectivity is totally different.

Fingers crossed

Looks good, which Android version did you get 9, 10 or 11?

mine is a PX6 android 9 but would recommend you go for snapdragon and newer android

Thanks, did you get any other extras? I thinking of getting apple carplay adapter, OBD2 WiFi and possibly IBUS

Close up of unit on dash, no gap at front and i have cut lip off x3 base plate

What did you use to cut the lip off / tidy up the cut? My plan is Dremel plastic cutting disc and then sand down.

This great! How is going few months down the line, pros and cons? This is something I would to do.

Great Job!!!!
I'm currently buying this replacement for the OEM Z4 navscreen, and wanted to ask: did avinusa sent you the right cables to connect the avin display with the old navigation cable?
In avinusa documentation, they just talk about the idrive display, but never about the mkIV display the Z4 / X3 e83 have :/
