So I was sat stationary on the M6 in the miles of average speed cameras this evening on my way home from work and my mind got to wondering about how they calculate.
I assume they record the number plate at each of the cameras and work out average speed s=d/t between the cameras.. or is it across the whole length of the cameras, therefore I was curious as I was sat absolutely stationary for a good ten minutes if I could blast through the rest of the cameras at 70  and make the average up.
Am I being rather optimistic? Thoughts?
