well what about 42??

i should have had a z when i was 20 but only now i have the funds to own and maintain such a car.

ofcourse i also have a 1100cc motorbike,and a 130 hp speedboat to keep in good shape.
(both over 25 years old )

look on the bright side, at least the boat will make running the Z4 seem cheap

Not long turned 29 and just bought mine. Have had a Mondeo ST since 25, and also a friggin big mortgage since before then. Had been saving to replace the ST with a Cerbera as a weekend toy, but then a change of plan and I ended up deciding I wanted something more modern that I could drive when I wanted to drive, and not when it felt like it. Has seemed an eternity since graduating at 21 to eventually clearing enough of the mortgage to justify getting a sports car. Taking a finance deal before then to me seemed ridiculous- paying an additional 2, 3, or 4k on a £20k car that is only ever going to be a depreciating asset.

Im 52 had my zed now for some 6 months , the post above reminds of something I read a while back," Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways,totally worn out, shouting ‘Holy s**t…what a ride!' :evil: yaaaaaassssssssssssss. thats what the zed does for me , gets the adrenaline going . Im already sofftening the missus up for a new one .

There you go ... always remember the last shirt has no pockets look at me, I got myself a great deal in 2009 with the 2008 Z4 3.0is, only to realize I made a mistake I did fall in love with the Z4 2009 when I was in Germany in 2009 so what I do I made a deal traded the 2008 in then told the wife ... what can I say I am very brave

Interesting to hear what you guys pay for insurance in the UK. I pay around £1200.. :thumbsdown:
But due to the heavy tax on cars, I guess it makes sense that the insurance is also higher?!
