AUX DIY

From memory AUX was for the old 3.5mm AUX cables, the new BT ones work as a CD changer. Have you tried it on any of the CD modes?

The link you posted doesn't work, just a amazon "cant find" message in German. Are you sure it's for your model of stereo, what model do you have? Also, some are designed for DSP, most cars don't have that.

Perhaps post up your stereo spec and try the link again, someone might be able to figure out if it's the wrong product.

I used mine today; I promise it's worth the wait!

I tried the Blue Music rear, and after reading many reviews and issues where the blue music failed after a while and often than not, stays powered on after the car is turned off (I know some BMW Z4's had the cigar lighter always powered on, I added a relay to turn that off when the car is off (which I will show case as part of my navigation android auto retro fit).

So I went with my original plan, a Ground Loop Isolator plus the AUX Cable after all.
My CD unit displays AUX immediately, the music quality is just fine for me, I am no audiophile, have great speakers at home for music and the car has decent speakers as it is, so I am not bothered. This also leaves me with the option to add the Bluetooth Module at a later date as I will definitely need the one that connects to the CD Changer head wires..

Thanks for the help!
