I've found many times that the old saying is true! Out of all the camera kit you can buy the best camera is always the one you have on you at the time! The secret is spotting the photo opportunity! Also knowing your way around software you have. Many times I've spotted a scene or something to take a pic of that may not look worth it but I can sometimes visualise what the picture could look like after it's been processed.
