It's the only colour for a Z4! And I'm still using mine most days, even in this weather.
Obviously more difficult to park being yellow, though!

BMW Z4 E89 sponsored by the original "Bird's Custard".

You've obviously got a problem with other forum members posting, haven't you?

Why do you persist with this nonsense?

Get over yourself, for God's sake.

You need to get yourself a sense of humour, sunshine! :D
I would have thought it would be a pre-requisite having a custard coloured car. Obviously exceptions to every rule. :?

Love seeing bright colours, looks superb and must feel good owning something so rare.

Those 326m alloys really go well with the colour too I think.

Look forward to seeing that colour in person one day!

They are rare for a reason. Atacama Yellow was not an individual colour, or a limited edition. Rare because very few people ordered the colour so they dropped it early.

'Rare' so often means unpopular in car terms these days. Sorry but I ain't lying!

I understand it’s not a popular colour but if we all liked the same thing the world would be a boring place. I’m glad this colour exists and would still love to see one.

Just because it’s unpopular doesn’t mean it hasn’t got its own appeal, especially with something like colour which is very subjective.

Btw, I don’t think you mean any maliciousness with your comments about the colour Pondrew, I think it’s just knowing your audience.
Joking about someone’s colour when they’re sharing their pride and joy in a thread which is celebrating the colour probably won’t go down well, unless you know the person well enough and that they’ll take it as a joke of course!

Cheers

Another 23i at 76k miles..£9.5k…pauper spec with heated seats…Marmite wheel choice..maybe previous cracked OE wheels?

Price down from £11k reflecting winter / declining market ?

Been around as pictures show both private and original plates.

Between October '21, when he joined the Forum, and December '22, B21 has made 2700+ posts, which means he's posted thousands, thousands, THOUSANDS of YELLOW photos.

OBVIOUSLY, B21's an enthusiastic, very active and helpful member and I'm certain that, like others, I've benefited from some of his posts. My ONLY complaint is that I'm sick of the sight of so many yellow, yellow, yellow, YELLOW pictures. They're BORING.

That's all. :)

This colour very much reminds me of the Macau yellow on my Cerbera back in the early 2000s. Still on the fence with this on a Z though.. :)

I had a mk 2 Ford Capri back in the 70's and always felt safer as it was brighter at night. Everyone else thought it looked like a huge banana.
