Atacama Yellow Z4s bought and for sale..

Since I seem to be the only person on this forum that likes the Atacama Yellow E89s produced in 2010, 2011 and 2012 I'd thought I'd document the number of transactions of this, the rarest of E89 colours..

I like yellow. Most "colours" are grey/black/white and, under our eternally grey skies, everything else looks arbitrarily "dark" not helped, I've decided, by mostly being metallic which do a good job of reflecting the tarmac.

Yellow is one of the few car finishes that stands out. As someone who's only had silver, violet, black, black, silver, silver I'd be all over these like a rash!

Contrary to popular belief there are many yellow tints I don’t like…but..when the sun goes down later in the day the deep yellow sun on that colour, especially well polished is a beauty to behold..

The phoenix yellow seems ‘complex’ the colour / tint seems to change a lot between overcast skies and sunshine…to me looks good under darker conditions but ‘bleached’ when it’s sunny….like PG on E85s, AY was only available on E89s..and a few BMW M cars..

I am not averse to colour, I used to have a liquid yellow Mini Cooper back in the day. When the Z4 first came out in Atacama yellow I thought it looked great but recently having seen a couple I am not so sure of this particular shade of yellow. Each to their own I guess.

Yep, love the yellow e89s, had a few yellow cars over the years, Yellow in ya face TVR Cerbera, yellow mini, yellow Frogeye Sprite and a Yellow LOTUS Exige 260s .......definitely like yellow cars

It's the only colour for a Z4! And I'm still using mine most days, even in this weather.
