Phoned Mondial (BMW Insured warranty today) They do not insist on a vehicle inspection at point of sale. They simply ask you has the vehicle got a full service history. This means serviced at a BMW dealership or serviced to BMW standards using only genuine parts at an Independent. They take your word on this but if you make a warranty claim and it turns out this is untrue your warranty is void.
They then also insist the vehicle is serviced by a BMW dealership or BMW Approved workshop whilst the warranty is in force. They will ask for the current mileage on commencement of cover and the warranty will only begin after a month.
The warranty does not cover wear and tear parts such as hoses, brake linings, friction parts etc.
