Wow...you would be the exception out West! Not very many Harley riders wave back out here. They usually just stare back with an "Are you kidding?" look! :roll:
 
agreed.

when i ride my monster, i get props from both harley guys (or anyone on a cruiser) and sports bikes. when i ride my yamaha, harley guys dont even acknolwedge.
 
I am very sensitive and do not deal well with rejection, so I do not wave anymore. BUT, if someone waves at me, I respond with both hands and a big grin. :dance2: :yeah:
 
Lots of little kids wave at me. The under 10 set seem to like the car. I see lots of BMW drivers every day (we're next to silicon valley) and only the Z3 people wave. Even the Z4 people don't wave. Most of the drivers don't care because they're not the small percentage that are actually BMW enthusiasts.

When I started riding (25 years ago), probably 90% of the sport bike guys and maybe half the Harleys would wave. At the point I sold my bike last year, most riders didn't wave no matter what they were riding. I tried riding with my buddy, but he and all his friends were on Harleys and they were so freaking stuck up about their noisy, slow beasts, that I stopped after 3 group rides.

You know. I think I do have that attitude. I guess for proof you could read my "Honestly" thread. I try not to let it show.
I do get mad if people are going slow. But I try not to tailgate. I do however (after being in Germany/Europe for 4 years) get quite ticked when people camp their happy little asses in the left lane. FOR PASSING ONLY. /rant off. I still don't flash my lights, but I give them a chuck norris glare....especially if I pass them, cause I hate passing on the right.

That would be fun. I saw a witch driving one on Halloween. During December, I usually drive with my Santa hat on. Been doing that for years.
 
I hardly think BMW drivers are a$$holes (present company included 8)).

But right outside my apartment are 4 different X3s parked on my street. I just never understood why people want an X3, other than having a fast SUV. It looks like an oversized hatchback with no redeeming qualities other than a BMW logo (and the speed). The design looks so plain Jane (inside and out) to me and every time I pass one on the street, I want to cane them for driving it :telloff:

I guess I am an a$$hole.
