are 275 rear tyres ok

I have 18* alloys, 8J front and 9J rear (Both et40) I was running 225/40 on the front and 255/35 rear, but they looked stretched on the rim, and far too tight. I switched to 275/35 rears and 245/40 on the front, and I have no problems at all with rubbing or clearance. They look much better as the tyre properly fills the rim. (And yes they do look awesome from the rear!, although that wasn't the reason for changing them.)
