Never seem much of a price difference between the Apple/HTC/Samsung phones of similar spec, and chose an iPhone 4S to replace my aged SonyEricsson K800i (which did everything I needed for about 5 years).
Maybe it's not iPhone owners looking down on non-iPhone owners - maybe some non-iPhone owners are just paranoid or are maybe trying to justify the fact that they've bought the wrong phone for them?

My 5 year old K800i did everything I wanted at the time, but it became unreliable and I decided to swap it. At the time I went into the decision process with an open mind, and tried lots of my friend's phones (HTC/Samsung/Sony/Apple), and I settled on the Apple as it was the only one that didn't CRASH during testing. Voice recognition on anything (phone, sat-nav, etc.) is just a gimmick and is useless in the Z4 at motorway speeds.

Sorry, but you don't seem to understand competition, intellectual property rights, or the processes you have to go through to protect them. I'm not going to bother explaining them to you - but put simply, if you fail to challenge infractions then it becomes harder to assert those rights at a later date. Microsoft does it, Xerox does it, BMW does it - please feel free to vent your spleen equally against them all!

Good for you. You are happy with what you've got and what it can do. So why do you feel you have to spend so much effort into telling people how poor something is that you've never used?

Come on, be serious. I don't see you berating Samsung/HTC/ZTE/Huawei for doing EXACTLY the same thing with their suppliers.
Why should Apple pay for the employees of another company? If a contract is negotiated to supply parts/services at a set price, then it's up to the employer to ensure they can pay a decent wage - which is in general more than the average wage in the area - and is why so many people are queueing up for jobs at the Foxconn plant whenever there are job vacancies.

didnt really see any difference in any of the iphone 4 models from what ive got which would make me buy it so im hoping that they will do something special for the 5. if not ive also got the new nokia 920 and samsung in my scopes
