Anyone repaired the ABS/DSC hydro?

Hi

I am wondering if anyone has repaired the ABS/DSC hydro with part no. 34516763959. Mine showed a fault (yellow handbrake and DSC lights) when my mechanic has inspected it.
He said to either replace it or send it to the UK for recondition. However, I contacted 2 companies (ECUS Direct and ecu testing) and the one said that this part does not have the pressure sensor inside but in the master cylinder and that the hydro unit does not have to be repaired. I am not sure that the pressure sensor of the ABS pump unit was the error the mechanic saw however and I will visit him again tomorrow. I am confused.

There is a repair kit from BMW isn't there?

The hydro unit went on my 1 Series and it cost around £400 to repair.

I think a replacement is well over a thousand.

I am not sure if there is a repair kit for hydro with part no. 34516763959 . For most part no. repairs can be carried out. But I got confused with this one from what the guy at ECU said and from some threads I read that zed's pumps might not be repairable. The cost for a new one is around 800 euro here whereas for the repaired I was quoted ~150 GPB from both companies before the guy at ECU said that this part has an external pressure sensor :?
