Anyone know this Coupe?

My first E86 with the black-top had the water pump die at 60K miles, my second E86 with the silver top was on 91K and the original when I sold it. So much for the revised water pump on the N52k!

My E91 325i (also N52 silver-top) needed a new one at 135K. Cost supplied and fitted was just over £500 at a BMW Indy in 2018.

I couldn't bring myself to pay £13K for a 3.0Si on 88K miles either! My MC with 76K miles was advertised for £14K in 2019. :D

Mmm. I did mine at ~110k on my 130i if I recall. At this price I'd want it done I think. What's the cost nowadays?

I really really like it but 13k for a 2006/88k Z4. I don't think I can!

Did a precautionary waterpump change on my old 130i (blacktop N52) at 154k miles, I know for sure that was the original unit.

Agree this E86 is a lovely looking example but £13k is just too much.

I would think roughly it would be around the £500 mark to change the pump. Would it be worth asking them to either change the water pump or reducing the car by a similar amount? It’s a nice looking example but i agree it seems strong price wise. I saw another silver grey Coupe at a dealer with 60,000 miles for the same price

Looks like it might have taken a little inspo from my old car...

Personally, i love the lip spoiler, functionally it does nothing but very subtly follows the lines of the roof and is quite rare to find these days. I suspect the one on this car is an aftermarket one as you can see it sticks up a bit higher and doesnt taper at the edge in quite the same way compared to the one on mine which is OE.

Silver grey is such a great colour. It shows very few marks and swirls and has many flavours depending on the lighting. It is my favorite colour, especially with red seats. I have always lusted after a silver grey with red leather.

Yes, I LOVE silver cars. They show the crease lines and body shapes so well. I really wish my Montego was silver.
And yes, silver with red, what a killer combo.
And also yes, very easy to keep clean.
My old VX220 was silver and red and it looked so nice.

Have you spoken money yet with the dealer?
They may be willing to do a deal?
Not explicitly but I get the impression there won't be much movement. I might put an offer in and just see what happens.

It’s worth a chat if there is no movement at least you know where you stand and can go from there

Are we talking about this coupe or the cross posted by Ed the black M one

Didn't clock the fact that the spoiler follows the double-bubble roof line. Nice.

I too love these in silver-ish and whilst I am not a fan of the lipstick-red interior, I do love this one.

Hi mate. No, not me. I see the ad has gone, not sure if that is because it was sold or just taken off sale...?

Ah, looking on the dealer website it is reserved. Someone has got a really nice Z4 there. Amazing spec.

I see, I was not sure if you had pulled the trigger and bought it!

I'm sure the new owner will turn up. I don't think you go for that particular car without being properly "into" them. Definitely the best available.

I'll share what I have gone for at the weekend once I've collected. As long as you don't chase me out of town!
