Anyone know this Coupe?

There are a few Z4 Coupes on the market both private and retail, are there no others of interest?

I quite like this one. It looks tidy in the pictures, but I can't see the registration plate to do any checks.

A dealer sale so you'll have some warranty and protection. £8995 from a garage is better priced than many others.

That looks really good value from a dealer. Those guys have some nice stock

Yeah that's a great price, almost too good (what's the issue with it?) and that interior is well nice.
Nice find.

Come on Guys, keep the chat related to the OP's advertised car - if you want to discuss the Coupe Market then do so on a separate thread

OP is looking for one, not selling one?

He is looking for one. I thought it was relevant pointing out what I thought was a decent alternative.

Hah, so sorry chaps, I was reading the thread about that £14k M Coupe for sale at the same time, and thought this was that thread!

Christ what a wally I am - as you were!

I’m also looking (still) and that Z4MC looks bloody lovely (and great value) but I’m trying to be sensible and avoid the extra M car running costs..

I've seen that Z4MC with mods as well, and am now in a quandary of looking at that (luckily about 4 hours away or I might have popped over), or continuing my search for a 335D Touring to replace my 320D Touring (but am having trouble finding one with the same spec) :headbang:

ETA: picking up my 335Dx M-Sport Touring now (20-Jan), and will give it a good seeing to on my 230 mile drive back home…should be able to overtake those damn zeds now, and not just follow :P

Hi all.

Funny you mention that other one. I was at that dealer at the weekend test-driving their 911 targa (which I loved but is probably not right as an only-car). Great guys and really interesting stock, let me go out in the targa on my own.

I do like the Z4s in silver, I must admit. And the mileage/price vs the other one do make it hard to look past. Interior colour I'm not head-over-heels with, would prefer no screen (even though technically I suppose it means it is higher spec) and it doesn't look CAF like the other one but then it doesn't have the mods that I am not keen on either.

Can someone tell me how easy it is to replace the fog lenses to twist my arm please... DIY?

I changed the fog lights on mine, 30 minutes job. I did remove the wheels to make the access through the flaps easier though (wheellarch).

Yeah dead easy. Removing wheel makes it easier above as per what PVR says.
All facelift Z4's with the rectangle shaped fogs get messed up, they're a poor design and let water in, then they just corrode and oxidize.
Many have drilled holes on the underside of the lens to let the water out (I've done this) also you can buy blanking plates, or take out, split and refurbish.
I'm (well, my bro-in-law is) in the process of restoring a really ropey set I was gifted.

Can one of you pull your fingers out and buy it please because it's sitting there tempting me too

I swapped mine by removing the front bumper (I also had screen wash issues to fix). Even easier than doing it through the wheel arch. Not a massive job either.
There's about 8-10 bolts up top, then a similar number underneath, and pop the wheel trim connectors. Bumper off in probably 15-20mins at most. Can be a bit tricky reinstalling it and the brackets at the arch reflectors can be brittle. Thankfully, I didn't know that at the time and had no issue.

You done it again on the wrong thread

Guys, would you want to see the water pump having been changed on these like other N52s? Also, would this have bluetooth calling? Seller wasn't sure. Cheers.

Ideally yes but easily sorted if not.
It's a gamble. I had 1 go pop at around 90k, my others (I've owned 3 N52 engines) were running their original pump at 75k when they were changed preventative.
But I've heard many stories of loads going strong well after 130k.

Mmm. I did mine at ~110k on my 130i if I recall. At this price I'd want it done I think. What's the cost nowadays?

I really really like it but 13k for a 2006/88k Z4. I don't think I can!
