That’s how everyone should feel,unfortunately that’s not the case is it .if you’re ok with people potentially losing money on a promotion from you then live with it . 👍

why would I live with it when as I said it people’s personal choice and I have not in anyway promoted just expressed my own experience so as I said what is your experience of this ohh yeah ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
 
If you’re so keen to keep telling everyone how good he is ( promote) then why don’t you send the poor guys who have lost out what’s owed to them , and get it back from your good friend mick .... as I say, all good as long as it’s not your money, people come on here for guidance, you say go to zed shed , I say to those who don’t know, be careful... everyone has opinions, yours could cost someone who has no idea what happened money , mine is saying be careful it might cost you money, how many more people have to lose money while we stand and watch ? Pay the guys the money back mick , I’ll be happy to say well done ,

I was not promoting I was stating a fact and only recommended zed shed as it was closer than other roof guys thought it was ok to state personal experiences from fact also thought personal attacks on members would be frowned upon or is it just when suits

why would I pay people back who have lost money with regards to MIKE at zed shed being his business I also know other business owners maybe I should pay there disputes for them grow up

No it does not I used zed shed as location was appropriate if the op lived in another part of the country I would try and help by pointing them to a closer roof guy or is that not acceptable either
 
So what is this now jump all over me because you have beef with someone else is this how the mods now conduct themselves from a unbiased position because I don’t agree with your opinion I then have mods trying to bully me in front of the whole forum do you really think that is acceptable

I read your post that I quoted as a promotion of DLV’s services.

The fact he hasn’t posted anything on the forum for a very long time says a lot. He has also had plenty of chances to respond to the issues posted. He hasn’t.

ok so why has mikes actions become a springboard for you to put that on me he’s a friend that I rarely get to see yet your acting like I am his partner or something
 
Wading in on this. A because I can and B because I am a great believer in loyalty and fairness. I've read through the "issues" posts with a keen eye since I've paid Mike for his services. Wouldn't want to take sides as I don't know full details but there's usually some fire with smoke. Been in business long enough to know a few things and one thing I've learned for myself is you can't please everyone all the time. There's no doubt the guys burned by Mike's apparent failings have been hard done by but I happen to know Mike's had some personal stuff that would write many people out of life's script. I would take a guess that the number of complainants would equate to less than 0.1% if his clients which isn't a bad score especially in the motor trade! Cut the guy some slack and let those who want to risk "learning a lesson" make their own decisions in life. Just my thoughts. I'll be spending some money with him on Friday if you want me to give him a message......
 
A , because you can 👍 absolutely, as with all of us , I can’t see anything wrong with what you put except that some people don’t know about the past problem with funds , I just hate to think it could happen again to someone who doesn’t know the score, I don’t know mike , it seems like you do ? At least a little. So tell mike this from me, I’m done with bitching about him, I truly hope he can come back strong from this , maybe try n sort the couple of problems out ? At least talk to the guys ? As for you courageous, consider the slack cut , at least from me , I won’t say another word 👍

Courageous, You may well be correct about the personal issues. I know his daughter was ill and demanding a lot of his time last year and that is unavoidable and a matter that all of us would rightly prioritise at all costs.

However, if he is still working/trading, as you imply by the fact that you are spending money with him on Friday, then I feel he has the time to communicate with other people who have paid money and are waiting for work still. (if that is the case).

Surely, All he has to do to put this matter to bed, is come back on the forum saying that he's been away sorting personal issues, then invite anyone who is trying to contact him to do so and confirm that all is squared up with them.

I know that's what I'd do, but to leave people from the forum hanging, whilst he's still trading elsewhere seems to indicate the impression of an admission of guilt.
 
Number 5 your info regarding his daughter is correct but it's one of a chain of unfortunate events as is often the case. He's not out if the woods yet but still needs to feed his kids. It doesn't necessarily mean he's in the "right place" yet. What would we have him do? Give up and ignore all income opportunities or carry on as best he can?
