Anyone heard from Jock156?

Now the consultants are back to work it looks like my body is starting to reject the new liver πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€

So, more tests and adjust my anti anti rejection tablets and see how it goes. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

Or, worse case scenario another transplant πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

I’ve waited over 3 weeks to have my front bumper repaired/ sprayed and was due to be done tomorrow. That’s now been postponed 😒

Hey feckin Ho!
Get yourself fixed first mate.
Fingers crossed the tablets do the trick!

Well yesterday was a nightmare!

They tried 8 times to get a cannula in and failed.

So they put a 16cm PICC LINE in today (google that πŸ‘€πŸ‘€) and I’m now getting the meds pumped into me

Hi Ronk, not sedated just a local injection. Can’t beli it’s a week already!!! πŸ‘€

I’m still in hospital as I’m due a biopsy while I’m in here, but my bay of 6 beds is in lockdown due to COVID. Thankfully I don’t have it, so biopsy tomorrow and discharge on Thursday 🀞🀞🀞

I’m just hoping my car will start when I leave πŸ₯ΊπŸ₯ΊπŸ₯Ί

Thank you for asking πŸ™

Time for a positive post on here!

Received this in the post yesterday.

Emotional read, but I could read it a million times!!!! :D :D :D

Just need the famous Glasgow Rangers to win tonight πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™

Tremendous news  when you get a letter like that it can take many reads for the information to be processed.

Pity it’s the only good news you’re going to get today and you’ll be lying in a darkened room by 10 o’clock tonight :poke: :poke: :fuelfire:

*ANOTHER UPDATE*

Today was a big Pow Wow at the hospital with 2 consultants from Addenbrookes and Dr Manning (Hottie) from the Norfolk N & N.

In their words I have made β€œexcellent progress” and they are more than happy with my condition. Bigger news is they are confident I won’t reject the liver now

That’s a huge relief for me but in turn they have now reduced my anti rejection tablets. These tablets have many piss poor side effects and are harsh on your kidneys. So I can now look forward to not feeling like I’ve been hit by a baseball bat daily :D

Finally in a week or so I should be able to get about better and not like a feckin 80 year old!

We were so happy we went straight to the travel agents and booked a weekend away in Tenerife over Easter!

Round of applause for all at the NHS! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Well done mate. Got to say we both thought you looked a lot better last weekend.
