Anyone got the Intravee PC Software?

Guys

Has anyone got the intravee PC connection software and latest version? Or a login to the intravee forums... It's required to download the software - unfortunately they have a system of approving new forum users. Which they appear to be ignoring. Also ignoring emails sent directly to their support. Spoke to their distributer and have heard I'm not the only person to find this.

Got it, installed it and still not managed to use it sucessfully! I have Com Port issues.

Thanks guys - got it. Looks like I had the latest version anyway (all brand new)... car's seeing the ipod - can control it, just no sound... just crackle, that oddly seems to increase when navigating the menus on the iPod.

You got the right cable? And you have set it to a non conflicting com port?

You can always borrow my cable with the software that came with it, as it just worked straight off. You will be even more tempted once I get the auto folding mirror and park - unlock function to work that is being developed at the moment

I think so, but can't be sure. I might take you up on that offer, potentially off to the 'ring next month, would be nice to have the new firmware.

I take it back... Intravee got back to me on their support email... extremely responsive. They have even arranged for someone to come by and take a look at the setup this afternoon... Blown away with that level of support!

It allows direct communication with the Intravee and the iBus. This also means you can program commands, such as has been done for the auto folding of mirrors and door lock on drive away, unlock at key removal etc.

You do need the Intravee though ...

Am i reading this right... with the intravee and the bit of devlopment complete i can get my auto folding mirrors to close when i lock the car? thats amazing!

I have my car set to lock when i reach a certain speed and the double pull to unlock the doors is a little annoying.

I better check back in on intravee forum and see what else is new!

i dont have the nav in my zed, so from what i can gather from this thread i can access certain stuff on the body computer to program? such as the auto headlight sensitivity? auto door lock when driving??

What you are referring to is possible to program via the key settings. Dealer and some independents can do that. I was not actually referring to those standard options, just new and otherwise not available ones.

Is that possible with the standard Intravee 2 box, or is this a new piece of hardware that's been developed?

Being able to intercept and control iBus messages would be a great feature to add. In theory, you should be able to get the Intravee to do things like remote roof down with 3 keypresses and that sort of thing...

All standard hardware, this is all relating to firmware which can be uploaded via the com port.

As said, this is still in development and works in the 3 series and the X5 at the moment, but the iBus commands I trapped are slightly different - hence it not working (yet).

If you get this to work PVR i'll have to owe you another pint on top of the one already owe you for helping me get my intravee!

And trapping the roof down.. even more genius.. would save me fitting my reinhold which is gathering dust somewhere in my house!

can someone please sent this software to me, looks like its the only way im going to be able to fix my intravee as I have changed the UI and cant do anything with it now.
