Nice example but needs driving that’s what there made for.
Drivers car through & through.
Would rather have a 10k car & 30 in the bank 😉

Waste of a good car. Wish I could afford to buy it and use it as a daily. Then I could save the MR for when fun is required.

Well I don't have a spare £40K, that's for sure! (Or I'd already have an MC, but not that one).

I can't see the point of buying it - if you use it the value will tank. If you don't use it, what's the point of having it?

Three owners each of whom drove it 1300 miles :?
It’s strange how it has the registration LP08 YMW in the first photograph and RJ07 DVL in the seventh.

To make money on it... :tumbleweed:

I’d be interested to see it’s service history however.

I think the 07 reg is a press car which had some form of photo shoot.
Good spot though.

:? Make money on it...maybe if you store it for 20 years perhaps and fetch a little bit.

Better to stick 40k on a deposit for a rental house, 60k buy to let mortgage, rent out @ £500-550 pcm, mortgage approx £220 interest only, make yourself £250 pcm after tax. Use that £250 to pay the mortgage on a 2nd house then fetch £500 pcm for yourself.

Could do it that way but then you have stamp duty to pay.

Or with stocks/shares you have capital gains tax.

You could probably get a decent return on it in 5 years as opposed to 10 assuming you put no more than 3,000 miles on it.

Not saying I would do it but can understand why someone would buy a car such as this at that mileage.

16 months would have the stamp and on costs paid, then it’s free sailing. Put the £250 to pay another mortgage then pull in £500 pcm for yourself for as long as you want the houses. Make a hell of a lot more than an M sitting there doing nothing. But let’s not get carried away, I see the appeal of it but you couldn’t use it, it’s a trophy car to look at or use for the odd show.
