Ventured to BMW for its first service on the 19th of Jan.
Apart from that, I think it was sometime early December since it has been out.

It’s a February 2019 car and has a whopping 3750 miles on it now.

It’s clean and on the trickle charger in the garage.
Well, good for you following the rules. Some are not.
I concur. Great piccy.

Mine is doing 20 miles per week at the moment - 3 miles to work 3 days per week so not even warming the engine up so sat on a trickle charger when not in use.

Roll on spring and the end of lockdown hopefully

The M140i went into winter hibernation back in Sept as it does anyways but with working from home and everything else it been hard using the Hyundai Kona. Before the latest restrictions I was trying to give it a few runs a week but since Christmas it's only been out twice for essential trips and with the bad weather it's just not been used.

I did make the mistake just before Christmas of washing the car and leaving it 2 weeks before needing to take it out and the rear pads had stuck firmly to the discs rock solid. It was quite a faff trying to free them off so now I leave the hand brake off and chock the wheels.

Sorned on 31st October, battery removed and put on the trickle charger in the garage, Stormforce cover fitted to her and I've not even lifted that since November. I'll get it MOT'ed and taxed in March I think assuming lockdown has lifted enough to let me use it.
Even my i3 runabout has only been charged up once since Xmas.

Did an official insurance "withdrawn from use" since 1 January. It is still covered with comprehensive insurance (fire, thief, tree falls on garage etc.) but should I foolishly take it on the road and have an accident...I would not be covered. I can reinstate the insurance anytime I wish with just a phone call.

Of course withdrawing it from service saves me money and I don't care to expose it to road salt, brine or whatever other garbage the state decides to throw on the roads.

thanks for the reminder! I can and will do the same on Monday!

My Z4MC has been off the road since November:

Mines been SORNed since Nov and won’t be back on the road until end of March depending on COVID and weather. Daily (hardly call it that as working from home ) is my 7. I feel very 😔. I need to get out driving again soon.

Last long journey was probably Nov '20 when it went out for a healthy 100 miles round trip to and from Ross at RBM! Safe to say it's not getting used as much as it ought to be! Probably only done 5-10 extra miles since then

Managed to sneak out for an early morning run to the coast on New Years day only outing since then was around a 50 second drive to MOT station down the road from me last Friday :(

SORNd and garaged since 1st Dec. with the dull winter weather and lockdown, I don't expect to be going anywhere till March. At least the tax is offsetting half my garage rent...

Mine is currently occupying a prime spot on my driveway without any way of moving it (without a manual push) :headbang:

It desperately needs a cover over it, after giving it a good wash. I need to sort out the grass/mud area really. I think the last time I drove my Z4 was in November

Went to move my daily off the drive today and the handbrake was stuck on. Nice big clung after a bit of persuasion. This being sat on the drive thing is no good for cars. They need to be driven, :driving:

I haven't used mine since Christmas Eve. :(

It only did 46 miles in December so as the tax expired on New Years Eve and it was £580 I Sorn'd it.

But I'm really missing it, so I think I'll find an essential trip to make on Monday!

Last time mine was out was the return from the NC500 in mid October. Since then I've bought some alloys that didn't suit (they went on the Mrs' Z) and I've started rewrapping the interior.

Miss it like hell though. I've got a Focus ST Line X for the daily but that doesn't really get you fizzing.

I'm having to settle for flying down mountains on my MTB for now as that's about all we can really do! :x

My 1 series gets used once a week when I go to my parents' house for a meal (I live on my own and they are my support bubble and local). I washed the Z a couple of weeks ago then drove it just far enough to get it up to temperature before putting it back in the garage. Can't remember when I last used the MX-5, the battery has been out on recondition for a few weeks (it's on a CTEK and just sitting there now). When the weather gets better I'll start rotating the car I use to go to my parents' house so they all get used once a month. It's a bit sad, really  If I think that one of the cars has stood in one place for too long it gets a push across the garage. That's what it's come to! Still, I'm thankful that I and close friends and family have mostly dodged coronavirus for now so some expensive paperweights is a small price to pay.

Had MOT 9th October at 50500 miles i've done about 100 miles since. That includes 20 miles
driver back from the dealers £ 1908 lighter. These cars need driving :driving:

Sorned since end of November. Not giving the tax man money for not a lot. Last drive middle of October. Still need to do rocker cover gasket again , so no panic. Tyres at 50 psi, optimiser, dust cover and dehumidifier all on. 'Potentially' back out in March . Sell it ? Always a thought. Nearly had it 2 years............ V8 vantage a thought but potential big bills means I may stick with the Zed for now...........who knows !

All this talk of cars not being used has prompted me to check mine today, it's been a while since I lifted the dust sheet  My biggest fear is lifting the bonnet one day and finding a giant mouse nest sitting on top of the engine with a spaghetti of chewed wiring :o

I do keep plenty of rat poison around the garage plus one of those sonic mouse repellers, no idea if they actually work.

Roll on the summer and to get it out to give it a polish

I did all of 200 miles last year due to the Covid situation  . Decided to SORN her at the beginning of October after taking advantage of the 6 months MOT extension. Gave her a thorough clean inside & out, pumped up the tyres, popped her in the garage, handbrake off of course, connected the CTek & put the cover over her. She's sat there untouched since then :( . I'd love to MOT, fully service & tax her in March but the way things are it would probably be a waste of money so will most likely leave it until April. That'll be 6 months .
