Anyone else worried about Lewis?

Gonna be really interesting to see how Russell compares to Bottas, cos thats then pretty much a direct comparison to Hamilton. Though Russell will need some time to get up to speed in the new car - though he has been driving an F1 car all season, unlike the Hulk who was drafted in and still managed to perform well.
Really hope he manages to get through FP and qualifying unscathed and survive the first few laps whilst being considerably further forward on the grid. Its his race pace that will be most telling if he should get a top tier drive.

psssh, Vandoorne and Guttierez had their shots, they can jog on. give the drive to someone fresh and exciting.
Personally i really like the idea of drivers having a limited 10 year tenure in F1 - which would mean half the field (including hamilton) have to retire... but would mean a lot more up and coming drivers would get their shot at the top level.

IMHO in recent years, too many drivers have been entering F1 when they're too young. Drivers would do far better to get a lot more race craft in lesser Formulae and race series, and mature and develop as people, before they race in F1. Fangio was 37 when he first drove in F1.

but yes, id agree. if a driver knew they only had 10 years in F1, then they'd make sure they were fully ready before making the move. there are plenty of other single seaters around the world to compete in - could do a few years in F2, then a few years in indycar, then a few years in Japanese Super Formula, before moving to F1. Rather than doing F2 straight to F1, having a few bad years because you weren't ready, then retiring to indycar/superformula.

Maybe that's why he was half a minute closer to the rest than usual at the end.
I wonder how they could say he won the race while suffering if he had no symptoms. How would anybody know he had it unless he had already had a test. If he had been tested and was positive why was he allowed to race or travel? Is it do what you want if you are rich and famous?

Great news about George Russell, and I'd really like to see him do well - fingers crossed.
I always thought it was a shame he got a Williams drive when Lando Norris got a seat at McLaren!
A good opportunity for Jack Aitken too - I'm looking forward to this race. Despite the Mercedes domination there has been some great competition behind them this season.
