Does anybody know this car, I have an appointment to view it.

Thanks Rob

Don't know it but it looks immaculate. Mega low miles too. It's either been very well prepped or owned by an enthusiast as even the inside of the exhaust tips have been polished

Heated seats the only extra it has?

I don't know this car, but looking at the photos it does not have sat nav. Whether you see sat nav as desirable or not, the absence of this seems to make resale difficult. I find the screen useful as much for the other functions as I do for the sat nav itself. Good luck with your search

I don't know the car, but I'd agree with BMWZ4MC, it does make the car harder to sell without the Sat Nav unfortunately.

With these cars now aging a bit, sat nav (or lack of) should be dropping down the list of priority requirements. Buy on condition. Is the lack of satnav already factored into the price? If not try to get it factored in so in future you can then resell at a lower price to drum up demand, therefore nothing lost. As years go by I think satnav will drop of the list of requirements because by then it'll probably not work or be rubbish, a £50 tomtom will provide better functionality :).
Personally I don't like the look of the satnav in the Z4. Much prefer it built into the front of the dash rather than some ugly flip unit on top. Each to their own though .... :)
Dont know the car but looks alright in the pics at least

The nav itself is pretty basic and clunky to use, let's just say it's nothing like Tom Tom :D

The nav screen is very useful though if you have an Intravee fitted to display your iPod screen.

I should say, I totally agree with Darren. I've never liked the look of the Nav in the Z4. It looks like an afterthought, and is ill-fitting.

Spot on, agree 100%

It does look like an after-thought to be honest, but I quite like the fact it pops up! Rreminds me of pop-up lights on older sports cars :D

Horses for courses with any 'extras': what some would consider a 'must-have' others would prefer not to have it.

Although the mileage is good, there are better deals around at the moment, the colour is a common one and for some reason it rarely photographs well, far nicer in person, the spec is poor and lack of Sat Nav is a big issue imho no matter what is said on here.

As said one of the biggest advantages of the screen is the other things that come with it, e.g. full ipod integration whereby you can select music by album or artist, there's even a G meter with the latest Intravee software.

However, at the end of the day it's up to you whether you want it or not, for me it's a must have.

There's a few on here that I would personally be looking at before this, e.g. Harks.

Let us know how you go,

Not worried about sat nav, do not see the issue with not having it? Heated seats are the only thing I must have but would like cruise too.

Discounted sat Nav when looking fir mine, must haves were M seats + heated, Xenons, carver amp, 108's & the rare Maldives blue...

Mine has other extras, but these were most difficult to find things... just got lucky

Agree with Daz, it's a odd sort of colour can look amazing when clean but pretty dull most of the time, i park beside a 3.0 Couple at the flat and it looks very bland!

Poor spec would put me off overall.

That's bollocks! (imo :) )

always buy a car for the purpose.

a z4m is a sports car (pure and simple) . People who buy it normally value mileage, condition, servicing history, crash history, mechanical soundness as the most important parts. That is because you are buying it to enjoy the "sports" nature of the car.. By all means, if 2 identical cars are presented where 1 has all the options and 1 doesn't, it will be a no brainer as which one to pick.

But, no 2 cars are identical mechanically. As such, because you are not buying a high mielage family transport, it is more important to buy on mechanical condition than on options.

Before you ask. I bought a car that did not have sat nav nor HK DSP sound system. It had 11,000 miles (at time of purchase), full service history, tracking straight, interior looked barely used, never seen paint other than at the factory and engine felt super strong. That's why I bought the car. The fact that another leggy example had sat nav, rear parking sensors and pro DSP did not dissuade me from why I should be buying based on conditions and not options.
