Any way we can filter the "New Posts" search..

Ok, looks like we will have to do something... I am discussing it with the mods and will make an announcement when we have reached a decision as to how to tackle it.
 
ok so while I am on a belated learning curve - what does the 'New Posts' contain - posts in the last day/2days/...

Would be pretty good if it could only show topics with posts that I haven't read yet.
 
Threads with posts you haven't read yet have a little orange icon next to the title, you click the icon to take you to the first new post in that topic. Sometimes if I log in through the day and don't read everything, the system forgets which are my "new posts" and show all as read, so I just browse the topics.

You can also click on "view my topics" too, which filters only topics you have a post in.
 
Theres also the active threads button which is handy if you visit the forum on two different PC's and it looses your unread posts.
 
Thanks wondermike, I knew about the different colour icons :D

I only ask cos I wasnt too active over the weekend and had 2 pages of 'New Posts' which were showing as read.. but when I clicked on 'Board Index' there were still some topics with unread posts...
