Any patterns on M seats?

side1.jpg

This is the only picture that I have at the moment. I will try to get a better picture in the next day or so. The pattern is just above the seat back side bolsters.

What is that in the cubby behind the handbrake?

Don't recall seeing a pattern on my seats - I will check though

Haven't used mine either, jarrow, and that's the exact pattern and location. Wonder how we can find out why we're so special? :)

I think it is part of the extended leather option. I remember seeing something similar in another z4 that had extended leather and regular seats but that was over 18 months ago when I was shopping for a z4.

(2 zero, the baby still isn't fixed???????? Need me to chew on the dealer a bit? Lonny calls me his "manager" aka pitbull....... )

Not yet, I'm just waiting for them to call.
I think BMWNA is going to send an engineer to look at it maybe the dealer isn't even touching it until he shows up?

I hope that's all--the dealer still needs to explain why the techs at HC thought the part had never been changed (even though the dealer said they had)

One thing I did note was no one I saw at HC had the two tone leather in their Zs. :?

No two-tone available in North America.

My M seats don't have that pattern. :scratchhead:

Now that right there is FUNNY.

OK, does any one else have M seats and extended leather? That may be a connection but I can't believe there are only 2 of us.

I never have quite gotten the "individual" part. Is that like in the US and you have "packages" you can add to a "base" car? If your car has leather on the door panels, then that's "extended" (and the visors), but no pattern.

Man, his has a lot of leather!!! Mine is the coupe so no roll bars, and I have wood interior but leather around the emergency brake and leather knee "pads" on the side of the transmission tunnel. Still, his has //M on the seat headrest, mine doesn't, but I have the basket weave.

Yep, extended is like above, and the Individual is the colours insde and out, plus some trim pieces. I think all the bi-coloured seats are Individual, and also single colours like Champagne, Caramel, Saddle, Hideous Blue, plus options like the Piano Black and different wood trims are all part of it.

Smokin, you have different seats altogether. Look at Starscream's seats. those are like mine. The seat back has 3 sections below the headrest. Yours has 4. Does yours have the M embossed in the headrest?

To answer Smokin's other question, "individual" is a special order with more options to include two-tone seats, and was not available in the US as far as I know. Granted if you have the money, and the knowledge, anything is possible
