Finally some proper snow last night. So while I was sheltering from yet another white torrent at Sharp Tor, I had a Cuppa and made a new friend.

Fantastic day up there.

20201229_183107.jpgEnjoyed a light covering of snow and a cracking day on the Tolkien Trail up here in Lancashire a couple of days ago. Have done this walk 3 times now in all seasons, just Spring to go; and it's fabulous, enchanting and beautiful in a different way each time. If you're a Tolkien fan or not I'd recommend it :thumbsup:20201229_184505.jpg20201229_185912.jpg20201229_190155.jpg20201229_195339.jpg20201229_195839.jpg20201229_173926.jpg20201229_190324.jpg

Built a sledge and enjoined a couple of hours in the park with grandkids 2A7C61AC-2606-4EF6-BF2A-136922F353AD.png

Was that matching bobble hats? So used to enjoy sledging with the kids when they were growing up. Not sure I'll be young enough should we ever be lucky enough of have grand kids.

Agree, some beautiful photos. Also agree... I hate snow too!

One can hardly deny that a winter wonderland is a delight to the eyes. But as car lovers, don’t we all hate the road salt that comes along with it!

Don’t know about your locale but where I live they have taken to pouring brine on our roads as a “pre-treatment “ for anticipated snow falls. That trash is 10 times worse than regular road salt. I have a friend who owns an auto body repair shop and he says 4 to 5 years is all you’ll get from an unprotected vehicle before you get rust through.

My Zed will not see snow during my ownership.

Pretty, yes. Nasty, you better believe it!

Hi there. Thanks. I have a couple of decent cameras (Canon and Sony) but wanted to travel light that day so took all those photos with the camera on my Samsung Galaxy A21S phone and a bit of mild photoshopping afterwards

We’ve had a proper winter this year. :) Much nicer than several black months with pouring rain as we had last time. D892E5DC-F42C-492C-8DD2-A9099E319C19.jpeg

Snow? :D
