Went to GP and was put straight on blood thinning drugs and referred to the stroke ward of the local hospital
Over 2 days she has had numerous blood tests (15 samples taken) , CT scan , ECG , and ultrasound scans on the arteries in her neck . She is also having her heart rate checked over a 3 day period
The consultant says it could be migraine but wants to check everything before making a diagnosis as she has only had one episode and if caused by migraine it only usually lasts a few minutes
Private healthcare? This sounds way OTT for the NHS, they're more of a die first ask questions later healthcare provider
