Filling and sanding floors in a house to repair damage to the T&G is, again, totally unacceptable IMO. The filler will crack and then damage the floor covering.
The ONLY reason they won't change the flooring is because it is too much work (and cost) with modern 8x4 boards of T&G chipboard. Still no excuse for cowboy repairs.
