Another wheel advice E85 roadster

Hi All!

My name is Coen from holland and I own a Z4 roadster from 2003 3.0i.
I am looking for two sets of wheels for My Z4.
One set of "track" wheels and one set of more like "stance" wheels.

My car will have a lot of camber and I don't mind stretched tires on my stance wheels.

I am about to order a set of wheels but I want to know (and believe me, I've been reading "ALL" forums around the world) what to order.

this is me with one of my previous cars:

I am looking for wheels in 18x9 and 18x10
but I am looking for the right offsets.. what would you advice and sorry for my first advice asking topic!!! I hope you can forgive me ;)

Thanks!

Thanks.. and I know..

I've been calculatiing my butt off! :) but my current setup is without camber..
19x8.5+35 front
19x9.5+35 rear and I can fit a 10mm spacers in the back easily.

thanks for thinking with me!

I like VMR rims but think you are probably looking for something more 'euro' style?

I'll have a think...

3+ camber :o

You'll be needing to wire your salary directly to the tyre manufacturer of your choice, Zeds like to munch on their rear tyres already. It's a shame you can't renew the inner edges only :?

Im in the same situation at the moment and this forum is useless when it comes to the wheels

i'm always using tape measure, had quite a few different set of wheels in my life and they all fitted perfectly ( previous audi tt had 6 sets alone  )

at the moment i have 18x8 et20 front, et15 back , according to calculator 18x9 should be et 20 , 18x10 et 20-30 you will have abit of poke

I like Cades Eros, but they only come in 15" and 16" which is a shame. The Tyrus rim is nice, and I've seen the silver version on a zed, looks good.

Hey Marius,

So your setup is:

18x8+20 front with 225-40-18
18x8.5+15 Rear with 255-40-18

right?

Then I'll start calculating my wheels! :)

I think I’ll go for
18x9+25 front 225-40-18
18x10+25 rear 225-40-18

Anyone running the same specs or almost?

I wont and if there is enough space, I'll put a 235 on there...

But I am looking for experiences of these sizes or any near sizes :)

I am about to order 18x9.5+31 fronts (3" lip)
and for the rear side 18x10.5+35 (4" lip)

the rears won't be with a 225tyre tho.. probably 245-40-18

check this out :
This is 18x8+20 225-40-18

Which make my 18x9.5+31 poke about 8mm (without any camber, but I'll be using camber plates)

This is 18x8.5+15 255-40-18

Which make my 18x10.5+35 poke about 6mm (without any camber, but I'll be setting camber)

So thats where we stand right now!
