Another 'Terrorist attack' in Paris tonight.

Yes Europe needs better border controls, but we shouldn't blame refugees for this. The refugees are fleeing prom precisely the people who did this.

but, surely, the worrying thing will be if the people who did this gained entry to Europe/France by pretending to be refugees...

Of course people from isis are pretending to be refugees. Most of the people claiming to be refugees and fleeing war pass thorugh many safe countries not at war and keep going to get to northern/western eurpoe. Why would they keep going if their safe if it wasn't for money. They have no intention of going back anywhere once its safe.

But It is some of the refugees. Without a doubt there are terrorists coming through the European open doors. You'd be very naive to think otherwise.
Yes, we feel sorry and pity the poor innocents in Syria but to allow them to come into Europe in hordes is a perfect hiding place for these pieces of filth (Geralt) to be able to move freely and commit these atrocities.
There should have been a zero tolerance to immigration from these countries but it's far too late now and we will, all of us, start paying the price.
I'm sure the do-gooders will disagree and say we should allow them into Europe Yes, it's heartbreaking to see some of the poor souls putting their babies in danger in tiny boats to get away from a different type of danger but how many of those men and women are coming here to commit the sort of carnage we saw last night?
Men with crying babies in their arms can be terrorists too.
It's too late now anyway.

Bad as it is, ...... It's still just standard terrorist shite ...
A handful of thugs with guns causing mayhem amongst unarmed civilians ....
They are getting their arses kicked in the Middle East so they do this ........
Typical behaviour, all macho and look at me when holding a gun against an innocent unarmed woman, but running a mile when someone does it to them ....

I'm thinking it will not be long before people start taking the law into their own hands, politicians are all talk and no action, ....... ... Even I have started looking at the ......... Keeping a gun in the house / getting 5 years if you are caught thing :)

Its times like this that I think of 70 years ago and if it happened today I really don't we would stand a chance or have the same will the country had back in those days, the West simply has no backbone. You can't defeat these people with drones and small titbit armys. I honestly think its time for a concerted military response in the middle east, Nato, USA and involves Russia now with the downing of one of their commercial airliners in a concerted effort to flush these people out and deal with them. We know where these people are so its time to go after them in a more concerted effort. Listening to the news this morning its the same old Political claptrap, a few months will pass and last nights tragedy will be all but forgotten until the next disaster. We have a military along with other countries, so use them.

The problem is its getting worse, its going from a few people being killed to now hundreds including commercial airliners being blown out the sky and I wouldn't say they are getting their arses kicked in the middle east at all although presently Kurdish forces are making some impact but I don't feel the West can carry on as it is. Isis shouldn't be underestimated as they are a disease slowly spreading westwards.

I would rephrase that as current refugees perhaps. If the previous migrations had not taken place, the current issues would not have happened.

In years to come, the same will probably be said about the current wave of migrants.

There is no hope just hate
There are so many causes of this hatred, envy, greed, religious hypocrisy and politics.
How can it be that the average western family throws 25% of it's food a away and yet millions starve, does this not promote envy in its fundamental form.
How can it be that the weapons used to kill people from developed nations by the fundamentalists emanate from the developed nations, we supply the means of our own death, all in the name of corporate greed and politics.
How can it be that a religion that spreads by indoctrination using fear of damnation on the influential young is allowed to promote intolerance and is not ostracized by those that don't.
These are the weapons used by those that hate, to convince the disillusioned young, that their cause is right and brainwash them to enter a crowded theater and massacre the innocent therein all in the name of a God that doesn't exist
There is no solution, the cure is better education, which is prevented by religious doctrine specifically created against it

Depressingly I agree with every single word of that. Extremely well put Sars.

+1, Very well said Sars

So a Syrian passport has now been found on the body of a suicide bomber................. Dont worry though, the un-controlled, un-checked immigrants, sorry refugees, have nothing to do with this. There are no terrorists posing as refugees in the massive numbers we see pouring through European borders.

I have no doubt that most of these people are genuine refugees and are fleeing the same people that we are trying to keep out. But at some stage Europe will have to wake up and smell the coffee. The time for pussy-footing around has long gone. I really feel for the genuine refugees but hearing and seeing hoards of young men from not just Syria but all over Africa and the Middle East arriving un-checked on European shores is absolutely ridiculous and just asking for more of the type of atrocity we have seen in Paris.

I would say there is alot of hope which should be grasped by Western leaders instead of the wishy washy approach upto now.

I always admired Margaret Thatcher, alot of people don't, but when the chips were down she had guts and wasn't afraid to strike forth.

I also understand that this is not about Muslims and a negative reaction by the public towards Muslims will only play into Isis hands and likewise create numerous new recruits.

Looks like he entered Greece back in October...

Truly shocking that innocent people have been caught up in this.

Have to disagree with all the 'they should have closed their borders' / 'this is down to refugees and migrants' rhetoric though. There is nothing stopping anybody from doing these sorts of atrocities at any time, in any city. Immigration rules are irrelevant - we need to be looking at why these people undertake these horrific attacks, and why missiles are being fired from drones 2,800 miles away in the name of self-defence.

Neither will create peace or harmony - but both are excellent propaganda for either side.

Engaging in dialogue is the way forward.
