Another numpty newbie question!!!!

1. No sign of the wind deflector anywhere. On the centre console between the seats how the feck do you get the top one open?
2. I have the triangle (blue case) but no sign of the first aid kit! Hey Ho!

But at least I know where the battery is now! LOL

What do you mean by “the top one”? Can you post a pic to show us? :thumbsup:

Are you sure the wind deflector, isn't on the under side of the boot? just open the boot and look on the under side of it, that's where it has brackets to store it, and the first aid kit is usually stored under the passenger seat
 
3. S428A Warning triangle and first aid kit - where would this be stored? - triangle in the boot, first is kit in drawer thingie under passenger seat
4. S441A Smoker package - WTF is that???? - ciggy lighter and ashtray fitted as normal, nearly eb=veryone has this. It's the opposite to non-smoker package where these are not fitted
6. S534A Auotmatic air conditioning - how does that work? - check the user manual
7. S692A Preparation, BMW 6 CD changer I-bus - I imagine it was delivered with all the gear but no 6 CD changer installed? - again nearly everyone has this. Means the wiring is installed, but the CD changer itself is not. Means that fitting a GROM Audio system is dead easy. Google it.

Yes, if you get the GROM unit with the CD Changer wiring harness it takes five minutes to install and works really well.
 
Aircon -- just press the auto button on your heater controls and set the temperature with the right knob...
Warning Triangle -- in the boot in a small cutout below rubber boot seal by your knees if you've just opened the boot...
First Aid Kit -- Under one of the seats...
Preparation 6 CD changer -- yep, you got it!
