Another M car is coming….Z4m is staying :)

IMO you've chosen the best colour. The black just hides the details and the blue is a little OTT. Two of my friends have got blue M2's and it's a bit too blingy for a little sporty coupe.

Great choice with the gearbox as well.

just watched this and I'm very jealous of your new car!!! Id have gone manual however!! the allure of DCT is very strong no doubt but id have to have a manual, ill keep PDK for my family tractor!

Black is really nice, but the Mineral Grey was more low profile and a anonymous for my taste....

IMO the M2 is a car that is more about involvement and a little back to basic driving pleasure (in a modern package). I felt the manual gearbox suited the M2 personality better.
With the f80 M3/M4 I would probably also choose DCT. It's a great gearbox and I understand why people would like to have it.... In the end I choose the gearbox with the heart and I ordered a manual M2.

i cant wait for your review of the z4m to m2.... ones analogue and raw the others modern and sophisticated !!

That was the reason for buying an M2...the difference between my Z4M is big enough... With the coupe vs roadster and turbo vs NA being the biggest differences between the two. I already made a small comparison somewhere...but a more in dept review will follow in 2017 ;)

Awesome!

I'm driving my Z4M with my 18" winter tyres...and even in this configuration it is still and loverly car with high levels of fun and involvement. The M2 has some big shoes to fill....not to fill, because the Z4M is staying...but you guys know what I mean

McLovin it in black and prob what colour I'd choose. V stealthy and intimidating.
But grey would def be my second choice.
Looking forward to the updates Franzino.... you gonna 'ring it too? Presume yes.
I'd be holding out for a dry winter morning there - realtively quiet, dry track, dense air......perfect conditions for a new car shakedown session....

Yes in 2017 it will come there...after I fit different brake pads (Pagid or PFC), other brake oil and steel linings....

If you're looking to balance the weight out with a co-pilot I'd be more than willing to meet you down there...
I've yet to christen the zed with a few laps too....

edit: mind you, I'm probably heavier than you so I'd just end up un-balancing it more!

Whenever you are at the ring and you see a silver Z4M roadster or grey M2 with Belgium numberplates...come on over and aks if I'm that guy from the Z4-forum ;)

Awesome car, congratulations. You'll love it I'm sure. I have a BMW M135i as well as the Z4M and it really is a fantastic car. So quick, so easy to drive quickly and packed full of nice toys and gadgets. The M2 is the next level up on performance I'm sure!

Looks awesome, despite the snow! :D

Be sure to update us with a brief review when you get time - always intereted to know how a fellow z4m owner rates similar cars!

Looking great. I see that in Belgium they also supply the minimum amount of fuel then

Why do they have to have EfficientDynamics on the rev counter of an M2 ffs? The eco nutter marketing warriors are a plague that I thought the M division would be able to kill, but alas even they are powerless. It should be an fun factor gauge, where being flat out swings the dial into the "epicness zone".

If anyone ever bought an M2 thinking now how can I decrease the CO2 emmisions of this car and increase mpg by 1 they are crazy
