Can you take a pic to show us what yours look like?

Sorry cant do pics not very computer savy :( but the thick bit is wider on this one than the last one and I have seen a pic of it on here somewere or that may have been the other style wheel but I checked this on the new ones when I ordered my car. :)

What not to purchase as a replacement;

Well, As well as my cracked wheel, I also had a problem with my exhaust rattling again. Both of which are not covered under the extended warranty.

However as a gesture BMW UK have agreed to replace the exhaust (£1100 plus VAT!!!) and have paid for the run out test on the alloy and if its within tolerance, they will replace it. Only issue is the exhaust is on back order. As Maniac has said, the same rattle will return after a year or two maybe, so they are not very good for exhausts which should last 10 years!!!

You have a great dealer Stark, BMW have not been quite so compliant with me on the exhaust with the same issue. I just disabled the flap in the end. I've appealed to them again and we'll see what happens.

Cracked wheel replaced too, not under warranty but just as good will gesture. As ever they will not admit there is a problem with their wheels, after my 7 cracked alloys in 2.5 years :cry:
