Am I taking a risk with these?

Recently bought my coupe that have these but 18". Think they look good just not my cup of tea gonna change mine for satin gun metal csl's I think. Here are some pics for reference. And ye I know these are old pics im in the process of changing the calipers nuts wheels/tyres etc.

Look like BM autosport reps, Have the staggered rear dish etc. All though probably loads of people sell them now.

Had a set of 18 bbs lm reps from bm autosport which had been solid for the 2 years odds i had them on my e46. The dish started to oxidise though. Common for water to get in the clear coat. Yours should be fine though.

Want a set for my coupe but dont want to step up to 19's and look too small in 18

I've got a tub of Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant. It's great stuff. Maybe if I keep the maintenance up and don't get lazy I can make them stretch that little bit longer

there are many companies that make bbs lm reps unless you know precisely that it is the same company as the one you have had crack then I wouldn't be too sure of these cracking.

cheap alloys usually mean heavier/lower quality finish and that's it.

as we know even oem BMW alloys crack like nothing.

They're supposedly new so I hope they're not hiding anything! I did wonder what that was about though.

275 rear should be no problem. Lots of examples of people running 275/30 with no issues.

Fronts will rub through the arch liner, but perhaps not fast/frequent enough for it to bother you!

That's a bit more reassuring thanks. If I can make do for a short while and be able to use it until I decide to swap them over that'll do me.

Your rear 224 (assuming-M sized tyres) is more than a cm taller than a 275/30. 255/35/19 and 265/35/19 have been done on a non-M too. So I'd assume so. Probably one for mr wilks and his back catalogue!

Non m sizes on mine 265 yeah but as I've said 275 I'm not 100% sure. Will probably be fine.

Not got them yet but I'm going for some 225/35 on the front at the very least as the 245's on them at the moment are going to be a problem. I've been given a few tips on here what are decent brands to look for.

I was wondering whether or not I might get away with the back wheels but I would imagine if I'm changing the front's its probably best to do all four anyway.

You might get away with the rears pull your spacers off and try them on. But I'd still get rid of the tyres simply because they're rubbish.

Yea I agree, fit first as is though to see clearance and to check you like them

Look for premium part worn tyres if on a budget
