Haha yeah 19" is a bit big but I've got 18's now and with the rear splitter I've put on it extends the bumper a bit and I think 19's will fill the arch a bit better

Glad I got my rims right though, I was pretty sure on them. Any idea how much I could get for these tyres then considering they're new and all?

Why people get concerned is that you have a high powered sportscar, capable of 150mph. It's RWD and totally depends on 4 comtact areas each about the size of your shoe sole. Given how difficult it is to even stand on an icy road then it's easy to see why a poorly performing tyre might struggle for grip in the wet or cold conditions when trying to turn and brake or accelerate a car at speed, all at once, or just stop quickly.
Such tyres are OK on low powered city only cars where running costs are critical, but invest decent money in tyres and be safe

BTW if you change your mind on wheels and tyres you should be able to return then under distance selling regulations for at least 14 days

Just a thought but changing from manufacturers original tyre sizes will almost certainly affect insurance premium. If you dont tell them then you risk driving uninsured if you have an accident. Also watch out for speedo changes as I presume they are calibrated for original equipment. You will need to check speedo against satnat (GPS) to guage any differences and watch out for speed traps.

Tyres on the other hand I hadn't factored in these being a problem, rims with tyres just seemed a better deal than rims without.

I'm pretty set on them though now so I wouldn't want to return them. Just shopping around for tyres on ebay and google they're so damn expensive!

Does the seller offer the rims with other tyres? Might be a cheaper option to do that by returning and having something else fitted paying just an upgrade cost

Nah just these tyres unfortunately. I'm having a hard enough time just to get him on the phone, I'm trying to organise collection with Paisley Freight but this guy's elusive as hell!

Their ok will look nice but they don't last long. If you put these BBS LM reps on your car within 6 months they most will be cracked/split. They aint the best made alloys I've had a set before that 2 buckled very easily. The edged lips are soft and don't wear well either at all once laquer peels. Alway shand wash them and keep waxing the lip to slow down corrosion. They are what they are just cheap £500 rep ebay wheels

I'm just speaking from experience. I've seen lots of buckled/ split sets for sale on ebay or forums. BBS LM is a starter wheel as their very cheap to buy. They don't last long as I said. They will look good though so still a good budget wheel to buy I really liked mine. Watch out for them drains and deep holes though. Seen lots of pics over the years with massive chunks torn out of these style BBS LM.

cades are much better quality than BBS LM had 2 sets of them too no problems. Go for 19" though or its a waste on that rear

I had a set of the BBS LM reps on my last zed and loved them. They weren't expensive but the quality was really good, I never had a problem with them and they were on the car a good 12 months before the car was sold.

Thank's I guess everyone is going to have had different experiences, it's useful to have a positive and negative review just to reassure what could or couldn't happen.

I'm just getting more and more excited to get them now, yours look/looked great!
