Now, where did I leave that spare £50K?

Edit Wondermike - three separate topics have been merged into one here.

Yes you are, but that has nothing to do with falling for a Jag :poke:

That looks cracking, and great spec too. Still a concept though, wonder if the final cut will be the same. Nice seats!

I have something very similar in my garage:

First the FF and now this.
Maybe BMW should reconsider and make a coupé of the current Z4.

Under the new Jaguar's shapely bonnet is an all-alloy 3.0 V6 that's supercharged to produce 380hp and 332lb ft. That's not too shabby in itself, but the concept's performance is supplemented by an electric motor producing 95hp and 173lb ft - the driver can whip up the extra ponies at the push of a steering-wheel boost button. So, with an eight-speed gearbox and lightweight aluminium chassis, the C-X16 will crack the sprint to 62mph in 4.4secs and reach a top speed of 186mph. It's also capable of 41mpg, and emits just 165g/km of CO2.

Wow.. some pretty impressive numbers there too. Would defo consider a DHC

I have found a "bit-on-the-side" a mistress to the Z4MC...

3.0 Supercharged V6 and a KERS system giving a 95bhp overtaking button on the steering wheel. Plus it looks beautiful, could achieve 41mpg / 165 CO2's. If these details are right, it could be a pretty special car:

380bhp
450 nm torque
8 speed transmission
1600kg
0-62 4.4s
186mph limited

Yes it will be a sensational car. The guys on the Jag forum I frequent are well excited.

First time in a generation that Jag is emerging with credible cars.

I'd have one of these in a heartbeat :)

A car like that for £50k is a bargain, provided that the production car will be completely identical to concept car (technical and design). Remember XJ220 did not have the engine from the concept in the end, and the price was higher than expected?

Lovely car. My confession .............I owned an XKR convertible, and never felt like an old man in it. Fitted with 19" alloys, lowered suspension and menacing rear exhaust it was a bit of a beast. It would leave the Z4 standing and seriously handled like a hot hatch. Very underestimated. Had a couple of others, Jag dealers are the best I have ever had to deal with, all over the country. Put Merc, Porsche, BMW and most others to shame.

Still love the Z4 ..... :D
