evening all! I bought on lease purchase the 3.0l sdrive in alpine white and choral red with 19" rims in November 2009, swopped it out for the Msport version with satnav in September last year in the same colours with another 2 grand downpayment and a bit more buck. Just paid another 3 grand to upgrade to the 340bhp and just under a grand a month... am I an idiot and is anyone up for telling the wife?

3K and another 1K a month!?! Holy crap. I hope you have enough left to buy SWMBO something nice or you'll be living in the kennel. With depreciation you might as well make a bonfire out of £50 notes. :o

I am paying 17k for something I'll never own, not practical, not a keeper. I could have bought a golf R32 for 12k and got 4-6k back at the end of ownership!
 
Wow - yes you are but you're amongst friends (and fellow idiots!). You must have told your wife a Jackanory in order to justify 3 (similar) cars in such a short space of time.

That's some hit you have taken on the 2nd zed, but as long as you earn and can cover the repayments every month without going overdrawn then why not.

As for logic, it's a car, there is no logic only lust, boy that's going to be some conversation.....let's hope you have changed the colour from recession white and that way you can at least say that you were sick of the colour....

....well that's my justification for new shoes sometimes :thumbsup:
