I thought i was mad when upgrading from a 30i to the 35iS, which doubled my repayments. No where near a grand pm though :o

We pay less to rent for a 4 bedroom detached house. Or were paying. Landlord gave us notice. :cry:

He may have rolled negative equity from the previous car into the new loan.


PCP payments on our Z4 are under £330 pcm. Note to OP: If you are going to swap cars every 2 years, look into PCP.

Not an idiot... just someone who prizes their car over money... many do. I'm paying out quite a bit per month on my 35i, but then thats a straight loan to pay it off rather than PCP.
 
I've been laughing and crying at the responses, but mostly laughing. still haven't told the missus but did get round to signing the contract which is the main thing. Have changed from 'recession white' to 'don't give a s**t get out of my way Black'.

You are far braver than we are. Debbie took the train on Wednesday rather than risk leaving the Z4 in airport parking.
