Unfortunately, as with a lot of mods, the Quaife and StrongStrut won't add that much to the value if sold with the car - look at the modified Alpina recently sold by Projoy. IMO, the way to realise the maximum amount would be to sell them separately, this is easy for the StrongStrut (assuming you've kept the original firewall braces) and you could possibly do a straight diff swap with someone to sell the Quaife - it should fit any manual 3L e85.fluxco said:Can you guys help me price up my Alpina Roadster S #116?
It is a 2004 Alpina blue with 118k on the clock. I bought it with 60k and have owned it for nearly 8 years. Full service history with bmw specialists.
I have upgraded it with quaife diff, strong struts, koni ssk shocks with eibach springs (original springs also available).
I am thinking £11k, do you guys think I am in the right ball park?
Assuming the car is clean and tidy inside and out (and you put a bit of effort into presenting it well), looking at recent sales I'd be pitching it around £10,500 without the Quaife & StrongStrut - possibly advertising it at £10,750 and accepting anything over £10,300.
