Back to the black one #317, I got royally outbid. Congratulations to the new owner.
Hammer price was £23k, so with fees of 12% + VAT, that's £26,450. I viewed the car yesterday and feel that's on the high side. However, the buyer was 'in the room' so will have viewed it and thought that was a price worth paying - congrats whoever you are!
Maybe this is indicative of a continued upward trend in prices...
Interestingly, the Iconic web site indicates the car sold @ £25,875 which is equivalent to £22.5k hammer rather than the £23k accepted on the live broadcast. £22.5k was the second highest bid, so maybe the winning £23k bid fell through. Still basically ~£26k all-in.
