29 yrs, no points ever, no bans but having a bit of a worry at the moment, might have been caught by a traffic car (Forward facing radar ) waiting for the 14 days after the incident to elapse to see if I get a NIP :( :(

23yrs, 1 hire car related speeding ticket but not proven so nil points, no bans, about 5 parking tickets :P

26 years driving, 6 points (none until 6 years ago!), 0 bans, a few silly bumps but no write offs.

Given the number of unmarked traffic cars around could happenat any time!

22 years driving, 0 points (ever) 0 bans, 0 courses...

been stopped twice -

once on a stupid undertake that went wrong, warning...

second, was an ignorant copper who was late getting home or something, who pulled me for getting in his way :o was all set to give me a right old telling off until I calmly pointed out that he hadn't had his blues and twos going and it was dark, and he had tried to overtake on a blind bend :o twat stormed off after that...

42 years driving, had 9 points once all for speeding on motorways, all accumulated in 1 year but that was just over 10 years ago, 0 bans, 1 accident in very heavy snow on the M56 slip road to M53 about 15 years ago.

Not a bad record in my opinion :)

40 years driving no points and no bans. Have had to attend one of those pissing stupid speed awareness courses but they don't count. I was very aware of the speed I was doing, it was the camera van I wasn't aware of

17 years driving.

2 x 3 points for 40 in 30 zones. Once when going up a hill using a more powerful car that we'd hired. The other when taking mum-in-law to hospital, a bit late for an apt. Both many years ago.

No accidents apart from someone bumping us from behind at a mini-roundabout when we'd been waiting there for 10s already.

Oh, and a speeding ticket with on-the-spot fine from the Guardia Civil in southern Spain after not noticing a sudden drop to 60kmh from 90kmh - ie 90 sign followed by 60 sign 200m later. About 8 years ago.

18yrs

1 write off: my fiat 126 which i spun hit a hedge and rolled over twice. it was very soon after passing my test when the first winter came and was totally due to speed  (in a fiat 126)

6 points many years later. 2x 3 sp70. caught doing 93 and 95. both on the same day by the same copper on the same bridge with the same camera. made me slow down and was just karma as me and a mate used to regularly max out his 3.0 z3 and my v6 mondeo on the various motorways around here.

i agree that a camera detector is becoming a piece of kit im considering there are too many roads now that change speed quickly and have been restricted etc that if you dont know an area you are likely to miss. having a little warning thing that has the speed changes programmed in via GPS and detects stuff would be helpful.

23 years first points 2 years ago 76mph :headbang: (in a 70mph dual carraigeway) in a transit so only allowed 60mph
No crashes until two weeks ago, and it was a write off!
Nothing like doing it right then
