It does on the E89 but I don’t know about the G29. Is there nothing about it in the manual? I’m in France and it’s been pushing 40 centigrade (104f) for the last week or so. Having the ac on makes a huge difference with the top down.bonzo said:Or, does the aircon automatically adjust when the roof is dropped so there's no need to switch it off?
It still comes out of the face vents in the convertible programme. It just seems to reduce the fan output so it’s not trying to ac the whole world!enuff_zed said:I stand to be corrected as usual, and don't have the manual to hand right now, but I'm sure if I drop the roof on my E89 it diverts the aircon to the lower vents only??

The AC function turns off even if you then press the button on the console to turn the fans on again (fan speed button in the middle). I have to go into the menu to actually turn on the air con function otherwise all I get is just fans with no actual cooling. Very annoying.
