Airbag light reset and replacement expansion tank

So I accidentally set off my airbag light the other day by reconnecting the battery while the seat was unplugged and I'm wondering what's the best/cheapest way to turn the light off. I bought a B800 tool but it doesn't seem to work on my car which is an 03 3.0i.

I also just wanted to change my coolant expansion tank to prevent any issues in the future, and I was wondering what some reliable options are in terms of non-OEM ones as the OEM one costs £91 according to my local dealer!

Confirm B800 tool won't work - also bought one but at least they're cheap.

Get Inpa set up on an old laptop - steep learning curve and you'll need a £12 cable from Ebay but I've used it a few times on mine now.

Other than that any dealer will switch the light off for a fee unless you can persuade them to do it as a freebie.

C110+ scanner from Amazon is cheapest if you want it to be intuitive.

It might be worth saying where you are as someone on here local to you may have one.

I bought a C110+ last year, but haven't had to use it yet luckily!

I'd be happy to reset the light for you using DIS/INPA. I'll be passing by on the m1 on 20th and 22nd this month if you haven't had the light reset by then.

I fitted a Hella expansion tank about a year ago. Covering around 10k miles without any issues. They usually go for around £40 (using discount codes) on GSF.

If you are fitting it yourself go with a BMW bottle. They slot straight on, aftermarket ones are often a pain to get them to fit on properly.
