That makes at least three of us... wonder if a dealership will do a deal if we go to them? Perhaps Sopers or Harry Fairbairn?

Yup. Worth trying Cotswold too ?

Quite possibly. I'll talk to Elliott at lunch as need to order some tie rod ends anyway.

Hi folks,

I spoke to Harry Fairbairn in Kilcaldy - they can do them for £372.26, which includes discount. Believe it's around 15% as standard. The group buy price is £10 cheaper (original quote was £383.20) so no point doing a group buy. This is also with free shipping. Waiting for an answer on painting, although I'd be more inclined to have them painted after their arrival at somewhere local to you, to avoid any disappointments in shipping issues.

Thanks for the update. I was hoping for group buy around 300. Never mind.

We paid £325 for them 3 years ago and that was reduced.

You'll never see them at that price new now.

£370 isn't bad especially when secondhand sets go for £300-£320.

Mine cost £120 to paint last time and they are easy to fit so less than £500 all in

A few of us have enquired in the past and with the shipping costs after discount it didn't work out any cheaper.

Good luck though.

Unless bought in France  seriously cheaper if you can get it organised but need a large van to transport them as they take up big space
When priced up around 30% less from memory :?

you should just buy 10 sets next time your out there, you would easily sell them

So I'm heading to Europe in July and the last stop of the trip is Munich for a BMW factory tour. This thread has got me thinking that maybe it could be worth grabbing a set of aero skirts from Munich and bringing them back to Australia as oversize luggage on the plane (obviously I need to check with the airline first). Does anybody know where in Munich (other than from BMW itself) I could organise this with and if you'd expect it to be much cheaper?

I doubt very much you'll get them any cheaper than £372 anywhere in the uk. Seems a good deal to me if you want them.

In their boxes they are decking huge. Can't believe that option would be cost effective.
