Aero Skirts

This thread has got me thinking that maybe it could be worth grabbing a set of aero skirts from Munich and bringing them back to Australia as oversize luggage on the plane (obviously I need to check with the airline first). In their boxes they are decking huge. Can't believe that option would be cost effective.

I have family members who fly all over the place with multiple surfboards so I didn't think this would be any worse than that! They're a similar length. But I imagine that by the time they're boxed they could end up quite a bit bigger :(

Nobody has the box handy that they could advise me the size of, do they?

That is indeed a very large box so I can see why you guys thought I was crazy. Looks like no aero skirts for me :(
 
When I purchased they came in an enormous box, but I'm sure they could easily be bubble wrapped opposite ways around and back to back giving a much smaller volumes item to ship and carry around

I thought of that, but to do from a hotel room would just be too difficult.
