Aero skirts - FITTED PICS page 6

Rang dealer about mine today, they said when we put the order across there were 2sets in stock, but when they went to pick them they weren't there !!! That's because you lot snuck in and got them.

Got to wait till they come from Germany now.
I wonder how many sets are actually left ?

I heard someone say the rear defuser from the aero kit was in short supply, and I'd of thought the side skirts would be more popular? So who knows.

But if your on the fence and thinking perhaps in the spring, it might be too late :rofl:

I think we got the last two sets in the uk. :oops:

The facelift rear diffuser has been discontinued for a long time, I tried to get one when I had my Coupe.

Not sure about the aero diffuser but I think they will be hard to get soon. Can't see BMW manufacturing any more.

Everybody says the CSL's are overdone now as everybody has them. Aero skirts seem to be catching them up.

I love both though and do still think the CSL's look better than 224's. Might be different if 224's were 19's but I also like a dear dish.
 
Have to say, even though I give you a ribbing, the CSLs are very nice indeed. Stu turned up today at a wee coffee meet we had at Brands, and his looked lovely :thumbsup:
 
CSL to me look great on the coupe, just never quite looked the same on a roadster to me. The aero on the other hand seems more pronounced on the roadster, guess because of the lower roof line.

Car is SORN matey and I'm going to attempt to fit the intake if the weather clears up. I haven't even had a look at the aero's yet !!
Working away during the week and jobs are stacked up waiting for me when I get back.

I'm happy to get the car taxed for next weekend and maybe meet up somewhere with anyone who's interested. :thumbsup:

Thanks gents, yes I think they stand out more each time you see them but I don't think most people who know the car would notice the addition. Paint shop have done an excellent job as usual though. As ever the iphone 4s camera phone is in need of upgrade :thumbsup:
 
Looking great indeed, well worth it.

Not moved on a lot with that building work though … :poke: :lol:
